You might know Olive Mae as one of the local favourites lighting up live music venues around town, but what many don't realise is that her career is rapidly gaining national attention.
After taking to the main stage at Good Day Sunshine Festival alongside Angus & Julia Stone and Boy & Bear, Olive has continued to build impressive momentum. Since graduating from the CMAA Academy of Country Music in Tamworth in 2025, she has opened sold-out Perth shows for Australian country music icon Sara Storer, and travelled to Tasmania to record her debut EP with award-winning producer Matt Fell.
Her breakthrough single from the upcoming EP, El Caballo Blanco, was inspired by the extraordinary life of her grandfather, Ray Williams, and became the most-played song on ABC Country for a week and found fans right across Australia, showcasing her signature blend of heartfelt storytelling and modern country energy.
Now, with her latest release, Country Songs, Olive is reaching an even bigger audience. The single has received widespread radio support across the country and earned strong national chart success, further establishing her as one of Australia's most exciting emerging country artists. With authentic songwriting, captivating live performances and a fresh take on modern country music, Olive Mae is quickly becoming a name to watch.
