The Sorcerers - A Tribute to Black Sabbath

Black Sabbath were formed in Birmingham, UK, the late 1960s, but came into their own in the 1970s – forging entire genres as they shifted in tone away from the blues-based music that inspired them initially (Cream, Led Zeppelin). In short, they brought the 'heavy'!
Consisting of five accomplished and experienced musicians from West Australian original bands, the main aim of The Sorcerers is to deliver a killer show brimming with the excitement of the early, classic Ozzy Osbourne-era Black Sabbath. Thunderous drums, howling guitar solos, blistering bass – and riff after classic riff!
Originally forming for the Newport Hotel’s Record Club series (where original bands teamed up to perform classic albums), The Sorcerers had so much fun they decided to carry on and bring their show to Black Sabbath fans everywhere. They’ve played to large, enthusiastic crowds in venues all over WA and interstate.
Focussing on the Ozzy Osbourne years, The Sorcerers – as fans, first and foremost – strive to convey the energy, excitement and massive sound of the mightiest of heavy rock bands – BLACK SABBATH.
